Mayor Barbara has called for a special meeting of the Village Council to be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 9am at Marvin Village Hall (10006 Marvin School Road) to recess into closed session per NCGS 143-318.11(a)(5)(6) for negotiating the amount of compensation and other material terms of an employment contract, and to discuss personnel. Upon returning to open session, the Council will consider approval of an employment contract for the Village Manager position.
