Description: Coffee with Council are events intended to promote transparency and open dialogue between the Village Council and the public. During these events, members of the public can meet with the Mayor and Council Members in an informal setting to discuss issues of interest.

Coffee with Council events are held on the first Thursday morning of each month from 10-11am, as well as on the fourth Tuesday evening of each month from 6-7pm. Please see the schedule below for the event dates. Individual appointments with Council Members are also available, please contact the member directly to schedule an appointment.

Council with Kids

Date: Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 6-7pm
Location: Marvin Village Hall
Address: 10006 Marvin School Road
Description: Sorry folks, this one is just for the kids! "Council with Kids" is a special event held every fall, where Marvin Youth can enjoy some snacks and learn about their town and local government from elected officials. Unlike other "Coffee with Council" events, most of the Council participates.

Annual Tree Lighting

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 5-7pm
Location: Marvin Efird Park
Address: 8909 New Town Road
Description: Join us for a festive evening at Marvin Efird Park on Saturday, December 6, for our Annual Tree Lighting Celebration! The fun runs from 5-7pm, featuring performances by the Marvin Ridge High School Band and Choir. Enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies, and keep an eye out—Santa will be stopping by! Come celebrate the season and get into the Christmas spirit with your Marvin community!
