The National Wildlife Federation registers Marvin, North Carolina as a Community Wildlife Habitat, recognizing our commitment to preserve, restore, and connect wildlife habitats as we work toward full certification. Living out our motto, Enriched by Nature, Marvin has also completed the NWF Mayors’ Monarch Pledge to expand and protect critical habitat for monarch butterflies and vital pollinators.
Additionally, through a partnership with Habitat Builders, Marvin maintains its Tree City USA status by meeting Arbor Day Foundation standards, enforcing a community tree ordinance, and investing in our tree canopy to ensure a sustainable ecosystem.
