Mayor Pro Tempore Martin has called for a special meeting of the Village Council to be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 5pm at Marvin Village Hall (10006 Marvin School Road) to recess into closed session per NCGS 143-318.11(a)(3) to consult with an attorney to preserve attorney-client privilege and to give instructions re. Chris / Victoria Comiskey v Village of Marvin / Kim Vandenberg (25CV000445-890 & 3:25-cv-00087-FDW-DCK). The Council will also consider adoption of an amended policy regulating the remote participation of council members in meetings.
