Mayor Pollino called for a special meeting of the Village to be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 5:30pm. The purpose of this meeting is to reschedule the Village Council meeting originally planned for Tuesday, January 9. The agenda of this meeting will almost exactly match the January 9 meeting with only three changes, the cancelation of the planned public hearing, delaying a discussion item to the January 25 Work Session regarding NCDOT Road Abandonment Requests for Waxhaw/Marvin, New Town Road, Marvin School Road, and Bonds Grove Road Contingent Upon General Obligation Bond Approval, and the addition of a discussion item for the Preserve - Marvin Creek Connector Trail.
