Description: Registration is now open for "Night Owls," our first stargazing event at Marvin Efird Park! We have partnered with Mr. Abbas Mokhtarzadeh, a volunteer with NASA who is excited about sharing his knowledge of our vast solar system! The event will begin at 7:30pm inside the barn with some lessons and fun activities. Afterwards, we will move outside and identify some cool sites using telescopes!
Registration is required, as space is limited. Please register early! Registration will be exclusive to Marvin Residents until Monday, June 17!
Registration Cost: Marvin Resident - $35, Non-Resident - $50
Night Owls will be for anyone aged 7+. Any child under 13 must be accompanied by a parent! In the event of bad weather or conditions unsuitable for stargazing, we have set a backup date of Saturday, June 13 at 7:30pm. Please keep the weather and the backup date in mind when registering.
