The Union County Planning Board will be hearing the case for the Aventon Apartments rezoning proposal at their next meeting on March 2nd at 7pm. This is a rezoning proposal for 310 apartments on 19 acres at the SW corner of New Town Road and Providence Road, The property is in unincorporated Union County, but this affects Village of Marvin residents, so we would like to make sure your voice is heard.

If you would like to attend, you can either go in person or watch the meeting on YouTube. The meeting will be held in the Commissioners’ Board Room (Room 118) in the Union County Government Center at 500 North Main Street, Monroe. If you want to give a public comment at the meeting, you must attend in person. However, there will be social distancing, limited capacity in the board room, and waiting rooms where closed circuit TV will allow you to watch the meeting after giving a comment in the main room.

If you need to attend virtually but would like your comments to be included in the packet, please email your comment to the Union County Senior Planner, Bjorn Hansen at bjorn.hansen@unioncountync.gov.
