Mayor Barbara has called for a special meeting of the Village Council to be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1pm, at Marvin Village Hall (10006 Marvin School Road) to recess into Closed Session per NCGS 143-318.11(a)(3) to consult with an attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege and to give instructions re. Chris / Victoria Comiskey v Village of Marvin / Kim Vandenberg (25CV000445-890 & 3:25-cv-00087-FDW-DCK). Upon returning to Open Session, the Council may take action on matters discussed in Closed Session.
