On April 13, 2021, at their regular meeting, the Marvin Village Council adopted a resolution to oppose a proposed bill being considered in the North Carolina General Assembly that would reform zoning statewide to allow duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes, and/or townhomes wherever single-family housing is currently allowed.

The Village Council vehemently opposes the proposed reform and will work with state legislators to defeat it. The resolution and proposed reform bill are available to be viewed on the Village's website through the links below.
